The Le Creuset Stoneware Butter Crock is a traditional-style butter keeper designed to keep butter soft, fresh and ready to spread at room temperature. Inspired by classic butter bells, it uses a water seal to help protect the butter from air while maintaining an ideal serving consistency.

Crafted from durable glazed stoneware, the crock is resistant to scratches, easy to clean and designed to maintain an even temperature. Its compact 0.17L capacity makes it ideal for everyday use, while the classic Le Creuset styling allows it to sit beautifully on the benchtop or dining table.

To use, softened butter is packed into the upper chamber, while a small amount of water is added to the base. When inverted, the lid sits inside the water-filled base to create the seal, helping keep the butter protected and spreadable. Le Creuset recommends replacing the water every two to three days.
