Terms of Service

Pricing

All prices are listed in New Zealand dollars (NZD) and include GST of 15%.

Prices are correct at the time of publication, but we reserve the right to change them without notice. If a price change affects an item you’ve ordered, we will contact you before processing your order.

Special prices and promotions are subject to availability. If your selected item is no longer available, we will notify you.

Delivery

We deliver anywhere in New Zealand, typically within 1–7 days.

We do not offer international delivery at this time.

For security, high-value deliveries may require a signature. If you're not home, a card will be left, and the courier company will arrange a suitable delivery time.

Refund Policy

You may return your item to our Newmarket store within 14 days of purchase for a full refund.

Alternatively, we offer store credit for the purchase amount, which does not expire and can be used online or in-store.

All returned items must be in their original, unused condition with the original packaging (no exceptions!). If an item arrives damaged, please contact us at shop@thehomestore.co.nz within 7 days of delivery. We will replace any damaged items at no cost to you.

Exchange Policy

You can exchange goods purchased from our website within 30 days. Exclusions apply. If the exchange value is lower than the original price, the difference will be issued as store credit. If the exchange value is higher, the difference must be paid in full before dispatch or collection.

You are responsible for the cost of the original delivery and returning the goods using our standard delivery method.

As with returns, all items must be in their original, unused condition with the original packaging. If an item arrives damaged, please contact us at shop@thehomestore.co.nz within 7 days for a replacement at no cost to you.

Lost or Stolen Vouchers

Gift vouchers are treated like cash. Only original copies can be redeemed, so please take good care of them.

Stock Availability

We strive to keep our extensive product range in stock. However, supplier delays or stock issues may occur. If this happens, we will provide you with an estimated delivery time or suggest alternatives.

Our secure credit card payment gateway uses 128-bit encryption provided by the Bank of New Zealand, ensuring your transactions are safe and secure.
