Terms of Service
These terms apply to purchases made from The Homestore (thehomestore.co.nz). If you have any questions, please contact us at shop@thehomestore.co.nz.
Pricing
All prices are listed in New Zealand dollars (NZD) and include GST (15%).
Prices are correct at the time of publication, however we reserve the right to change prices without notice. If a price change affects an item you’ve ordered, we will contact you before processing your order.
Promotional pricing is subject to availability. If an item is no longer available, we will notify you.
Stock Availability & Pre-orders
We work hard to keep our range in stock. If an item is unavailable or delayed due to supplier availability, we will provide an estimated timeframe or offer suitable alternatives. For pre-orders, delivery timeframes are estimates and may change based on supplier schedules.
Delivery
We deliver anywhere in New Zealand. Delivery timeframes are estimates and typically range from 1–7 days after dispatch (depending on location and courier volumes).
We do not offer international delivery at this time.
For security, high-value deliveries may require a signature. If you’re not home, the courier may leave a card and arrange redelivery.
Refunds (Change of Mind)
We want you to love your purchase. If you change your mind, you may return your item to our Newmarket store within 14 days of purchase for a refund, provided it is unused and in its original packaging and condition.
Prefer flexibility? We can also offer store credit to the value of your purchase. Store credit does not expire and can be used both online and in-store.
Please ensure all returned items are in their original, unused condition with the original packaging intact.
Refunds are available within 14 days. After 14 days, we can offer an exchange or store credit (up to 30 days).
Exchanges
You can exchange goods purchased from our website within 30 days. If the exchange value is lower, the difference will be provided as store credit. If the exchange value is higher, the difference must be paid in full before dispatch or collection.
Shipping costs: Original delivery charges are non-refundable, and customers are responsible for the cost of returning goods using our standard delivery method (unless the item is faulty, damaged in transit, or required by law).
Faulty Items & Damaged in Transit
If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of delivery and we’ll arrange a replacement at no charge.
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers are treated like cash. Only original copies can be redeemed, so please take care of them. Lost or stolen vouchers cannot be replaced.
Security
All payments are processed securely via Shopify’s encrypted checkout and PCI-compliant payment providers.
