Price Match

We work hard to keep our pricing competitive. If you find the same item cheaper at another New Zealand retailer with a physical store/showroom, we’ll do our best to match their price so you can shop with confidence at The Homestore.

We focus on matching like-for-like retailers who offer in-person service and local support.

How to request a Price Match
Please contact us via Live Chat (fastest) or the Contact Form, and include:

  • A link to our product page (or product name + SKU)
  • The competitor’s link
  • The competitor’s price (NZD, incl. GST)
  • Your delivery postcode (so we can compare delivered price where applicable)

We aim to respond within 24 hours (often faster during store hours).

Terms

  • Competitor must be a NZ-registered retailer with a physical store/showroom (online-only retailers excluded).
  • Item must be the exact same model/variant, brand new, and in stock for immediate purchase.
  • Price comparisons are based on NZD incl. GST, and may include delivery to your address where relevant.
  • We do not match marketplaces/third-party sellers (e.g. Amazon, eBay, Trade Me sellers) or overseas retailers.
  • Approved price matches are valid for 24 hours.

Shipping is simple and calculated by region at checkout. We also offer free shipping on orders over $150.

The dock holds your sharpener ready for use at any time and is an elegant eye-catcher in the kitchen. The sharpener and angle support are held securely in place with magnets.

At home in your kitchen
With the HORL® Dock your sharpener is immediately to hand whenever you want to sharpen your knives. The HORL® Dock also keeps the magnetic angle support handy and the knife sharpener becomes a true eyecatcher in your kitchen.

Premium finish in two colours
With its metallic finish and clean design, the HORL® Dock lends a touch of elegance to any kitchen. The graphite finish of the HORL® Dock provides a stylish contrast to the oak and walnut cases. In dark bronze, it matches the colour of the HORL®3 Pro and HORL®2 Pro perfectly.

Presented practically, always at hand
The HORL® Dock is so designed that the magnetic angle support is held in place magnetically, while the sharpener is gently parked on a silicone pad. Inclined at 20° the angle exactly matches that of the magnetic angle support for the HORL® sharpeners, which presents the sharpener very elegantly. Thanks to the anti-slip pad on the underside of the HORL® Dock, it stands firmly on any surface.

Wherever placed, elegantly handy
Thanks to its subtle shape and compact dimensions (10.4 x 6.9 x 2.6 cm) the HORL® Dock fits easily in any kitchen. You can place your sharpener centre stage and premium sharpness for your kitchen knives is only an arm’s length away.

Made in the Black Forest
We manufacture the HORL® Dock together with our regional partners in the Black Forest. From constructing the metal frame of the HORL® Dock to assembling the silicone pads, all production takes place in our region. This means we can guarantee the highest quality.
