Wedding Registry Conditions

Prices

All prices are in NZ dollars (NZD) and they always include GST of 15%. We endeavor to ensure that all prices are correct at the time your wedding list is published, however we reserve the right to amend them as necessary without prior notification.

Specials & Promotions

Items on special that are placed on lists are only available at that price while stocks last. Once the promotion has sold out, we can reorder the item but it will be at the original price.

Stock Availability

We work very hard to ensure that all items are available at the time your register is created. However, suppliers frequently discontinue or change their ranges without notice. When an item has been purchased from your registry and is found to be unavailable, we will offer a similar alternative or a gift voucher to the value of that gift. This voucher can be used towards purchasing anything in our range.

Please note: we will not source unavailable gifts from any other retailer and cash refunds will not be given when gifts are unavailable for any reason.

We will not notify wedding guests who have purchased a discontinued or unavailable item that the gift has been exchanged for an alternative or a gift voucher.

Vouchers and Credit Notes

These are treated as cash and cannot be re-issued - please be very careful with them!

Wedding Registry Completion & Delivery

All presents will be held at the Newmarket store. We will contact the bride and groom closer to the wedding day to arrange collection.

Gifts can be delivered for a fee (depends on the final quantity, size and weight of gifts and the delivery address).

Exchanges

We are more than happy to exchange items that have been purchased from your registry. The following conditions apply to exchanges:
  1. Exchanges must be made within 3 months of the wedding.
  2. If you cannot find a suitable item to exchange your gift with we will give you a credit note. It is our policy not to refund.
  3. We will only exchange items that have been marked as purchased on your list. If a guest has purchased an item for you from The Homestore that is not on the list or they have not informed the sales assistant it is on the list, you must provide proof of purchase in the form of a receipt or an exchange card. If the items are seasonal or were on sale, or ordered in especially for you, The Homestore reserves the right not to exchange the items.

Please contact us within 2 days of delivery to report damaged, faulty and duplicated items.

Cancellation

If the wedding is cancelled or postponed the Bride & Groom must notify us by email. Any guests who have purchased a gift will be contacted and offered a refund. The Bride & Groom may be required to pay a cancellation fee of 10% of the total value of the items purchased before any guests are refunded.

Security

Our Secure Credit Card Gateway includes 128-bit encryption provided by the Bank of New Zealand.

Special prices and promotions are subject to availability and we will contact you if your choice is no longer available.

We work very hard to ensure that our huge product range remains in stock at all times. Occasionally our suppliers face delays or supply problems and we will either give you an ETA or suggest alternatives.
