The coffee grounds container allows you to easily dispose of the used coffee grounds after you’ve had your shot of espresso. To do this, simply turn your portafilter upside down and tap it on the wooden handle of the pot to loosen and release the spent espresso grounds.

Espresso grounds are very hot after extraction. This coffee grounds container is made of highly resistant plastic and has a wooden bar that can be detached for easy emptying. The box can be washed by hand or in the dishwasher.

The consistency of the grounds thrown out is an important indicator of the grind dose: if your dose is too high, the grounds are like stones. It means that the coffee extraction was not perfect. If your sediment is too soft, the dose is too low. If the sediment is dry with a solid surface and breaks easily into several pieces, your dosage is perfect.
